Mountains of the Moon Trekking Safari (Rwenzori)

Duration: 10 Days / 9 Nights
Day 1:
Meet at 07:00hrs depart Kampala for Western Uganda through Masaka and Mbarara towns with stop over at the equator crossing for photography . Have another stopover at the Agip Motel in Mbarara for refreshments and lunch. Continue to the town of Kasese arriving early in the afternoon for Dinner and overnight at selected lodges.
Day 2:
After breakfast, guides will have prepared all necessary items for the hike in Rwenzori Mountains ("Mountains of the Moon"). Proceed to Ibanda, the foot of Rwenzori Mountains; your porter and guide are introduced to you. Proceed to the first hut (Nyabitaba) for an overnight stay.
Day 3 - 8:
You will be still hiking the peaks on the Rwenzori mountain range, and on the 9th day, you are collected from Ibanda and taken to Kasese. Overnight at the Margarita Hotel.
Day 9:
Breakfast at leisure. Afternoon leisurely drive back to Kampala with stopovers for items of interest arriving early evening.
