Day 1: Kampala- Queen Elizabeth
Early morning pick up at the city square, we drive to Western Uganda with a stopover at the Equator line for photos. Lunch stop over in Mbarara town, which is referred to as the land of milk and long horned ankole cattle. After lunch drive through beautiful hills with grown banana plantations and lush green tea estates. We then proceed through volcanic formations of the Western Rift Valley towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, catch nice views of the Kazinga channel and gorgeous Lakes George and Edward amidst game-filled plains along the way and en-route to Mweya.
Dine and overnight at selected lodges.
Day 2: Game viewing Queen Elizabeth
Early morning meet at your respective accommodation, we drive to Western Uganda with a stopover at the Equator line for photos. Lunch stop over in Mbarara town, which is referred to as the land of milk and long horned ankole cattle. After lunch drive through beautiful hills with grown banana plantations and lush green tea estates. We then proceed through volcanic formations of the Western Rift Valley towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, catch nice views of the Kazinga channel and gorgeous Lakes George and Edward amidst game-filled plains along the way and en-route to Mweya. Dine and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge, which is beautifully, situated on a bluff overlooking the renowned Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward. (Full Board).
Day 3: Game viewing Queen Elizabeth
Early game drive with a magnificent view of the sunrise, the massive Rwenzori Mountains as a backdrop providing excellent scenery. The network of tracks within the Kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park provide an opportunity to see the African buffalos, savannah elephants, defassa waterbucks, Uganda kobs and encounters of lions as they prey. Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse eco-system of the savannah plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps lakes and volcanic craters is a home to an incredible abundance of wildlife.
After lunch at Mweya lodge, proceed for boat cruising on Kazinga Channel that connects Lake Gorge to Lake Edward. The Kazinga Channel offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari lodge.
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National- Kampala
Early morning after breakfast, drive to the Kyambura gorge where the River Kyambura flows across the rift valley floor towards the Kazinga Channel, take pictures of the gorge from a raised platform and appreciate the beauty of nature. Proceed to Kampala with a stop over for lunch, arriving in Kampala early evening for overnight. Prepare to depart the next day.
